By using Lift-Up (which refers to accessing or using any or all Lift-Up content and services offered through Lift-Up’s website at www.lift-up.org, YouTube Channel, or other social media), you are bound by the Privacy Policy set forth below. The contents of this Privacy Policy are incorporated by reference into Lift-Up’s Terms of Use. If you do not accept or agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use Lift-Up.
Data Storage, Analytics, and Protection
Lift-Up will use and protect your Personal Information, such as your first name, last name, and email address in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Lift-Up’s sign-up only collects your first name, last name, and email address, and this is stored such that only select Lift-Up personnel and its service providers have access to it. Lift-Up uses Mail Chimp’s database to store the information it collects. Our use of any platforms, statistics, or analytics (Squarespace, Google, YouTube, and Mail Chimp) is only for purposes of improving access and user experience.
Lift-Up strives to protect the Personal Information submitted to it, both during transmission and once Lift-Up receives it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. While Lift-Up uses commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, Lift-Up cannot guarantee its absolute security because Lift-Up does not control it.
Data Selling, Renting, or Sharing
Lift-Up does not sell, rent, or share your Personal Information to, or with third parties, in any way other than as disclosed in this Privacy Policy. Lift-Up collects your information only to comply with its own legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Lift-Up’s agreements. Lift-Up reserves the right to disclose your Personal Information as required by law (e.g., to comply with a subpoena, warrant, court order, or legal process served on Lift-Up) and when Lift-Up believes that disclosure is necessary to protect Lift-Up’s rights, avoid litigation, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, and/or respond to a government request. Dispute Resolution
Lift-Up takes its users’ privacy seriously. If you believe that Lift-Up has not complied with this Privacy Policy with respect to your Personal Information, you agree to first and foremost contact Lift-Up at http://www.lift-up.org/contact-us. You will not start any legal proceedings whatsoever without first contacting Lift-Up in this manner and giving Lift-Up the opportunity and sufficient time, as determined by Lift-Up, to resolve the matter. In your email, please describe in as much detail as possible the ways in which you believe that the Lift-Up Privacy Policy has not been complied with.
